THE ZOMBIE CHASERS - (illustration)

Since 2009 I have doing the cover designs and interior illustrations for Harper Collin's Zombie Chasers series. The first book was released June 2010, the second book comes out March 2011, and a third book after that. Each book has over 100 interior illustrations!

(The jacket of the second book)

In addition to the interior illustrations I drew zombified chapter numbers. For example:

CAT RACKHAM - (online comic)

Cat Rackham is my online comic, it's the most personal project that I have.

Cat Rackham is a depressed cat in a t-shirt who lives in the wilderness. He isn't very good at it. Is he too self-involved to listen to his natural instincts? Did he go into the wild to escape some personal demons? Did he used to be a human being? We will never know the answers to these questions.

SQUIRREL FAMILY TREE - (a passion project)

For the last three months I have been plugging away at drawing Jeremy the Squirrel's (from Cat Rackham and the Comforts of Life, and other comics) extended family tree. By my plans I am a quarter ways through.

Still to come - First Nations Squirrels, Frankensteins, Vikings, a Jug Band Critter Clan, and Rats.

LOOT - (a personal side project)

"Loot!" is an idea that I have been noodling with, possibly to pitch as a kids graphic novel or a video game.

Loot follows a  twelve-year-old nerdy kid named Brian as he completes quests of escalating difficulty and weirdness. Early on in the comic he might get rid of a cockroach for his dad, or clean out an elderly neighbour's gutters but by the end he's traversing dungeons underneath his street and slaying goblin kings in his school's bathroom.

With each quest he receives/finds/steals a new piece of loot. A pair of boots that allowing him to jump high, a belt that multiplies himself, a ring that gives him muscles, etc.

Brian doesn't have an inventory menu, he has to carry or wear everything he finds.

PUG ROAD TRIP - television pitch.

Pug Road Trip
This is a television show that I pitched briefly in 2009. Three pugs "borrow" their owner's station wagon and drive it across America. Their owner, a fiercely strict and militaristic old lady, chases the pugs on her rascal scooter.

Characters
Gene, a pug determined to own his own massive dot com corporation. He's logical, determined, and selfish.

Sunny, she's all about sports. Sunny is manically energetic and leads with her gut.

Shortcut
, a sensitive and soulful pug. He gets his heart broken easily and he plays the acoustic guitar.
